Roll on Turf

Material Details

Roll-on turf, also known as pre-rolled turf or sod, is made by growing grass on a large field, and then cutting it into rolls or strips. At this stage, it can be relocated to where it will be placed down as a new lawn.

We always recommend a new bed of soil to lay the lawn onto and ensure its levelled and compacted to avoid any weak areas before it's installed.

Another feature we recommend is the application of river-washed sand on top, which will allow us to get a perfectly levelled lawn.

Once the lawn has been installed, it will need watering over the course of a couple of weeks to encourage the new grass to push its roots down into the new surface.

Within four weeks, the lawn will be ready for cutting and will be in perfect condition.

Along with our roll-on turfing services, we provide an option for low maintenance using artificial grass in your lawn instead.
